We ran a recent search for "best web design companies in Orlando" and the top result was an aggregator listing agencies headquartered in San Francisco, Mumbai, and Toronto. None in Orlando.
That's the state of "best of" content for local searches in 2026. Aggregator sites built for SEO rather than usefulness clog the top results with content that doesn't help anyone making a real decision.
We built this list as a corrective: every agency below has a verified Orlando-market track record, an operating history of at least three years, and a demonstrated portfolio of recent client work. We work remotely ourselves and we don't penalize agencies for doing the same. What matters is whether they actually deliver for Orlando clients. We included ourselves, and we disclose it.

How We Built This List
This list reflects original editorial research by REK Marketing & Design. We started with a candidate pool pulled from Clutch, Expertise.com, Semrush Agency directory, DesignRush, The Manifest, Awwwards, GoodFirms, and Google Business Profile searches for "web design" and "web development" in Orlando, FL. We evaluated every candidate against the same criteria, regardless of whether we have an existing relationship with them.
Inclusion Criteria
To make the list, an agency had to meet all five:
- A genuine Orlando-market track record. Demonstrable web design work with Orlando-area clients, whether the agency is headquartered here or serves the market remotely. We excluded agencies with no verifiable Orlando client work, plus aggregator and directory listings with no real connection to the market.
- At least 3 years of continuous operation. Confirmed through state business filings or domain registration history.
- At least 10 verifiable client engagements. Demonstrated through case studies, named client portfolio work, or public testimonials.
- Recent portfolio work (within past 18 months). No agencies whose portfolio sections haven't been updated since 2023.
- Working website with current contact information.
How We Evaluated
Each qualifying agency was scored on five dimensions:
- Design quality. Visual craft, originality, modern aesthetic.
- Technical implementation. Performance (Core Web Vitals), accessibility, mobile experience.
- Specialization match. How closely their portfolio matches the work they describe themselves as doing.
- Orlando-market track record and longevity. How much real, verifiable work they've done for Orlando-area clients, and how long they've been at it.
- Transparency. Pricing, process, team visible on their site.
Editor's note: full disclosure
REK Marketing & Design publishes this article and is included in the list below. We did not pay any agency to be included, and no agency paid us. Where REK has an existing referral, sub-contracting, or partnership relationship with a listed agency, we flag it inline. The evaluation criteria above applied uniformly to every agency, including ourselves. Spot an error, want your agency considered, or disagree with our assessment? Email [email protected].

More candidates currently in review
This list will expand as we finish verification on additional Orlando-area web design candidates surfaced from Clutch, Expertise.com, Semrush, DesignRush, The Manifest, Awwwards, GoodFirms, and Google Business Profile. We re-review this page quarterly and add agencies as they clear our inclusion criteria.
Why Some Names Aren't Here
Editor's note
Several agencies show up in "best Orlando web design" search results despite having no verifiable Orlando client work. We excluded them, not for working remotely (we do too), but for lacking a real track record in this market. They may still produce excellent work; they just aren't a fit for a list built around Orlando-market results.
Examples of agencies and pages that didn't qualify under our track-record criterion:
- onelittleweb's "top Orlando" list. This isn't an agency; it's an aggregator site whose Orlando-area list features companies headquartered in cities other than Orlando. Excluded as not an agency itself, but flagged because it currently ranks for the search "best web design companies in Orlando" while listing non-Orlando companies.
- SmartSites. A large, well-reviewed national agency headquartered in Paramus, NJ. Strong operation overall, but we found no demonstrable Orlando-specific web design work or local track record, so they read as a national listing rather than an Orlando-market agency.
- WebFX. A large national agency headquartered in Harrisburg, PA. Their Orlando appearance is a location landing page rather than a local office, with no Orlando-specific portfolio work we could verify.
- Wildnet Marketing. A national agency with offshore delivery and 350+ staff. We found no genuine Orlando-market presence or local client work to support inclusion.
This isn't a criticism. These can be excellent agencies. They just don't have the Orlando-market track record this list is built around.
Frequently Asked Questions
We applied the inclusion criteria detailed in the methodology section above. Every candidate had to have a genuine, verifiable track record serving Orlando-area clients, at least three years of operation, ten or more verifiable client engagements, an active website, and no active regulatory action. Agencies that didn't meet every criterion were excluded with a note explaining why.
We disclose this transparently in the editor's note at the top. We applied the same criteria to ourselves as to every other agency. If you'd prefer an outside-curated comparison, we recommend cross-referencing this list with Clutch, DesignRush, or direct conversations with each agency's recent clients.
Designers focus on visual layout, typography, branding, and user experience. Developers write the code that makes the site work. Most agencies on this list do both, with one usually being their stronger discipline. The "Best for" line at the start of each entry signals which is stronger.
No. We list alphabetically. Different agencies fit different client situations, so a single ranking would mislead. Read each entry's "Best for" line to identify which agencies match your situation.
Quarterly. We re-verify addresses, services, portfolios, and any business changes every 90 days. Last updated: May 2026. Next planned review: August 2026.
No. We work remotely ourselves, and several strong agencies serve the Orlando market without a downtown office. What we require is a genuine, verifiable track record with Orlando-area clients. We excluded agencies that appear in Orlando search results with no demonstrable local client work, but being remote on its own was never a disqualifier.
